Overview

Tony Mangino is a Director with TC2 leveraging extensive experience in the procurement of today's market-leading MPLS, hybrid WAN and cutting edge, application aware SD-WAN solutions spanning both a U.S. and global footprint.

Tony brings to bear his detail-oriented expertise in all phases of the procurement process to obtain sizable cost reductions in projects for highly globalized, financial service, brand-name manufacturers and services companies.  These projects typically feature MPLS service selection at their core, increasingly combined with “Internet First” strategies, networking for Cloud, Managed Services and transformational initiatives.  In these projects, Tony provides all critical functions to clients including: complex cost modeling, technical design and solutions support, business case development, commercial strategy development and contract negotiation.

In particular, Tony has developed many of TC2's tactical and strategic insights into the shifting service platforms that the major global suppliers employ for IP and MPLS services. These insights have produced many of TC2's key techniques and innovations for cost comparison, benchmarking, and modeling of current and future client data and multimedia application suites to deliver the optimal mix of price, performance and complexity.  Tony's work is applied across a range of user-managed and carrier-managed WAN service platforms. Additionally, Tony has a deep background in telecommunications industry structure and billing platforms, which has assisted clients in significant surcharge, tax, and bill/contract reconciliation issues.

Tony holds a bachelor's degree from Allegheny College and an MA in Telecommunications Management from The George Washington University. Tony also holds the ITIL v3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management.
