Julie Gardner is a Project Director at TC2 with a broad range of experience in telecommunications procurement and a specialty in audit and compliance work.
At TC2, Julie assists with RFPs and benchmarks and performs contract compliance/audit work. This work includes contract implementation, new service migration, audit of existing network and services, and cost savings reviews and optimization for interexchange voice and data services, local exchange and wireless services. She assists clients in understanding billing, contract terms, reporting and analyzing spending trends. Her overall goal is to produce tangible savings in the form of audit recoveries, decreased telecom expense, and effective contract/ vendor management.
Julie previously worked in audit at KPMG Peat Marwick in Atlanta and in IT management at Gateway Computer. While at Gateway, Julie was responsible for managing telecommunications expense, contracts and vendors in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. She was particularly recognized for identifying and implementing telecommunications-related cost-saving measures across the enterprise. She identified, negotiated and recovered millions of dollars in billing issues and irregularities, and managed multiple rate reviews and global telecommunications RFPs.
Julie graduated with honors from JM Tull School of Accounting at the University of Georgia. She is based in the Atlanta area.
